ABOUT THE PILOT PROGRAM:

​We offer the following Dual Enrollment Pilot Programs for High School students: The Cosmetology Program, Hair Braiding Program, Barber Program, Esthetician Program, Massage Therapy, Theatre Arts Program, Film & Video Editors Program, Audio Engineering Program, Audio Operator, Carpentry, Electric and Plumbing. These programs are conducted through distance learning, on campus/off the grounds, which includes cooperative education, job shadowing, internships, community exploration, registered apprenticeships, and community service learning designed to provide students with real-world experiences.

FAQS – High School Pilot Program

**All incoming students must attend an orientation which will be held on the 1st day of class. During orientation the student will learn about responsibilities and standards, the format of the program, the progression of the program, and how performance will be measured.

Can I get financial aid to attend the pilot program?
​We have funding available for those who qualify. As part of your onboarding process, you will be scheduled to meet with our financial navigator to learn more about what aid is available to you as an active apprentice or Employer Training Partner.  Aid may be available for various costs like tuition, fees, kits, supplies, food, housing, and transportation to and from your supplemental instruction classroom. It’s our quest to eliminate any barriers to entry within our programs. We want to ensure our programs are available to everyone, regardless of financial or societal upbringing. 


When do classes start?
Classes start the 1st week of every month.


Requirements for enrolling in Black Girl Beauty School of Careers:

Students must be at least 16 years of age.
Students must be in grades 10-12th.
Students must provide a copy of Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Driver’s License.
Student's Must Complete Interest Form
Enrollment Fee of $450.00 Due at time of enrollment.
Student's Must Complete Application​
