Youth Trades Academy

There are so many children that are left at home in the evenings and summers while their parents' work; Most actually come from a household where there is only one parent. The majority of the households are without fathers. Mothers are forced to go to work to provide for their families, but unfortunately the kids are at home by themselves, getting into trouble and/or not eating healthy meals. There are many more children that need positive mentors and guidance in their lives. Helping them to feel good about themselves and building self-confidence is a great experience to offer them. Our programs were designed with all that in mind...  Our programs will enable children to one day become adult catalysts in their community and be in position to give back. We offer these services to all socioeconomic levels, but we specialize in Black children, and they can learn in person, with one of our partner employers or right from the comfort of their own homes.  BLACK GIRL BEAUTY PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL in partnership with Black Girl Beauty Youth Trades Academy, since 2011, have been mentoring, inspiring and training women and children by providing clear step-by-step systems to shape and build self-confidence to become leaders. All programs include personal development, leadership and entrepreneurship training. Offering Live-In-Person, Hybrid & Virtual classroom experience that integrates fun & flexible - online instruction.

Black Girl Beauty's Youth Trades Academy offers four training and development programs for middle/high school students. We offer trades in Beauty, Performing Arts, Audio Engineering and Construction for both male and females. We also offer a special program for Moms & Dads to learn how to do every day simple hairstyles to keep their babies hair looking quite special. Our youth programs are free to those who qualify. We focus on children from underserved and underrepresented communities.
